Facial/Lip Filler
Less Excess. More Refinement.
The SkinLab Approach to Dermal Filler
At SkinLab, our approach to filler is rooted in the belief that less is more. When used strategically, with respect for anatomy, expression, proportion, and individual aesthetic goals, results are undetectable, youthful and long-lasting.
Our philosophy is guided by a deep understanding of facial anatomy and the natural aging process, as well as how the eye perceives youth. Rather than adding volume broadly, we use precise, minimal placement to restore what’s been lost, redirect light, and create results that are refined, natural, and sustainable.
Whenever possible, dermal filler is used in conjunction with regenerative treatments, such as biostimulators and/or skin tightening. This approach supports the body’s own collagen production to improve skin quality and restore volume over time, allowing filler to be used more selectively, and often in much smaller amounts.
This approach allows us to deliver results that feel effortless, undetectable, and designed to age beautifully.

Results vary based on the area treated, the product used, and your metabolism, but most filler results last 6–18 months. With consistent maintenance, many patients find they can go longer between treatments over time while still keeping results looking fresh and natural.
-
Most patients describe filler as very tolerable. You may feel a quick pinch or pressure during injection, but we prioritize comfort throughout treatment. Many fillers contain lidocaine, and numbing can be used as needed for a more comfortable experience.
-
Downtime is minimal. Most patients return to normal activities right away, though mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur and typically improves within a few days. We recommend scheduling treatments at least 2-4 weeks prior to any major event.
